Organization Goals
Sudan's location as a country in sub-Saharan Africa has imposed many humanitarian challenges related to the emerging displacement and refugees movement, whether from the effects of environmental factors such as cycles of prolonged drought and sudden floods and devastating torrents, in addition to the harsh and never ending civil wars. Finally, the phenomenon of human trafficking and the use of the country as a transit point from the heart of the continent to its north for those wishing to illegally migrate to the northern countries in Europe.
The challenges do not stop at the displacement, refugees and illegal immigration movement, but there is a rise in unemployment rates and a decline in the level and quality of education. The scarcity or even absence of projects to support sustainable development in sub-Saharan Africa, specifically the Sahel region, has led to a deterioration in the quality of life and a lack of contribution by the countries of the region to development efforts at the local and global levels.
